My Centerpieces...

Picture
Okay, originally I thought I'd try and save money by doing my own centerpieces. But my wedding's so early in the afternoon, that I wouldn't have had time to drop everything off. And my mom flat-out refused to "be running all over town running errands before the wedding." And she's right. Anyone of my friends/family who I would've trusted to  get things in order for me would have suffered and not have been able to enjoy the morning of the wedding.  Not cool. Especially not in Vegas.

So, I gave up on the DIY for the most part (except my escort cards). I'm working with a florist and I'm so happy I did! I'm very excited about how the whole room should come together.

I'm working with Gosia from Las Vegas Bouquets, and she's so creative and has been really great about working with my *very* tiny floral budget.

Gosia suggested we stay with an ivory/white theme, and I think that will work well with what Maggiano's already has on their tables. Maggiano's has a beautiful room with rich accents, so I'm not trying to transform the space (and spend tons of money doing it!).  I just wanted to make it a little more wedding-y and Gosia has really helped with that. Awesome vendor!

Favors: Containers

I am going to fill these suitcase boxes (the tan ones) with candy and have them on each guests' plate to tie in with the travel theme.

They have other ones that actually look like those roller suitcases, but those didn't quite fit with the look I wanted for my table.

I originally wanted something different, but as my wedding idea has evloved, the look has evolved. That, and I spend too much time on etsy :-)

I came across these tags from craftyclementines and had to get them. I think they're soooo cute!

Cake Toppers!

Picture
I searched high and low for this topper and I'm so excited to have found the etsy seller who made this original!

(yeah, I know that "H" is a little funky, but I think it adds a certain charm. Plus, there's nothing I can do about it anyway, so I might as well roll with it :-)

An idea of the set-up

Picture
I stole this pic from somewhere off the internet (probably another Knottie, if it's yours, let me know). If you can imagine this table set-up with my centerpieces in the middle and my little ivory suitcases on each plate...well, then there you have it!

I hope it looks as cool in person as it does in my head!
