I'm working on a travel theme, so all of my paper stuffs are along those lines.
Invitations
I originally thought I would be doing passport invitations.. But, I when I saw these invites from Bed Bath and Beyond, I thought they would go better with my travel theme but still keep it somewhat formal. (When did this become such a formal event?)
Added bonus: the swirls match the design of my wedding website, our colors are blue, and that square near the top of the compass is a ivntage postage stamp design. All over the swirls are words like "Air mail" and "Postale" so that will fit well with the postage thing I'm going for with my escort cards.
I doubt anyone will notice but me, but it would have bugged me otherwise, so it was a nice fit for me. When they finally get delivered, I'll try to post the real ones so folks can see what they look like up close. As it is, this is just a screenshot I snapped off the website.

Escort Cards
I looked at a lot of travel-related paper products, but I really fell in love with this idea:
Miniature postcards complete with stamps and mini-cancel marks.
I'll be doing this as a DIY (my one and only). I'm ordering folded business cards and I've ordered cancelled international stamps from etsy for relatively cheap. Everything else, I think I can do with InDesign or Photoshop.
